Samantha Panlilio spreads her wings at Miss Grand International national costume competition

Samantha Panlilio literally spread her wings at the Miss Grand International national costume competition on Tuesday.

During the event livestreamed on the pageant’s YouTube channel, the Philippine candidate was seen killing it with her huge white wings paired with a golden outfit from head to toe.

Called the “Paruparo,” Samantha’s costume was inspired by the Paruparo Festival held in her hometown in Dasmariñas City, Cavite, every 26th of November.

Her costume suit and leg straps were designed by Louis Pangilinan, while her wings and head dress were the creations of Santino Rivera. The shoes, meanwhile, was by Jojo Bragais.

The beauty queen, who was crowned Binibining Grand International 2021 in July, hopes to be the first Filipina win Miss Grand International 2021.
