Beatrice Luigi Gomez, first openly gay Miss Universe Philippines, proudly wears rainbow outfit
Beatrice Luigi Gomez is killing it as proudly posed in a rainbow outfit ahead of the Miss Universe pageant.
On Instagram, Filipino shoe designer Jojo Bragais shared a photo of the Philippine bet looking fierce with her head held high as she posed with the colors of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Completing the look, of course, were the nude high heels designed by Jojo himself.
"To win in life, you shouldn't be bothered by everything," the caption read. "True enough, Beatrice Luigi Gomez shrugs off the small stuff and only focuses on what's important to her."
The shot was taken by Dookie Ducay as part of the shoe brand's #UnbotheredWalks campaign. The hair and makeup, meanwhile, were the creations of Raymond Santiago and Mickey See.
The overall look and styling was done by creative director and fashion stylist Eldzs Mejia.
As of writing, Bea's photo has thousands of likes and hundreds of comments from netizens and LGBTQIA+ community members who can't help but shower her with rainbow flags and love.
Beatrice made history after becoming the first openly out member of the LGBTQIA+ community to win the Miss Universe Philippines crown in September.
Prior to her win, she said that she's ready to represent the community on the international stage.
Beatrice is already in Israel to represent the Philippines at the 70th Miss Universe pageant on December 12.
