Student with one arm gets early Christmas gift from GMA Kapuso Foundation ahead of face-to-face classes
A student with only one arm who is returning to face-to-face classes is among those who have received an early Christmas gift from GMA Kapuso Foundation.
In a “24 Oras” report, Wednesday, Rea Flores’ mom Cherilyn said her daughter was born with only one arm because she inherited it. Nevertheless, it never hindered the young girl from making achievements.
Rea even finished on the top of her class when she was in Grade 1 and she also joined beauty pageants.
Just like Rea, other students at Bato Elementary School had expressed their excitement at going back to school.
To ensure their safety, they were required to take a temperature check and fill out a health declaration form.
Their seats inside the classrooms were also tied with ropes to maintain their distance from each other.
To encourage the students to study harder, GMA Kapuso Foundation distributed “Give a Gift Alay sa Batang Pinoy” Christmas bags ahead of the holidays.
The GMA Kapuso Foundation is accepting donations through bank deposits, Cebuana Lhuillier, Shopee, PayMaya, GCash, Zalora, Mega Mart, Globe Rewards, and Metrobank credit card.
