Meanwhile on the cover of British Vogue, Adele looked stunning in a yellow corset, voluminous hair and her signature cat-eye.

In her interview with Vogue — which was her first time speaking to a journalist since 2016 — Adele opened up about her divorce, being a mom to her son, Angelo, and how she’s getting ready for her return to the spotlight.

Apart from her “reemergence,” Adele shared how her upcoming album ended up becoming a way for her to explain things to Angelo when he’s older.

“He has so many simple questions for me that I can’t answer, because I don’t know the answer," she was quoted as saying.

"Like: 'Why can’t we still live together' That’s just not what people do when they get divorced. 'But why not?' I’m like, I don’t fucking know. That’s not what society does. And 'Why don’t you love my dad anymore?' And I’d be like, I do love your dad. I’m just not in love. I can’t make that make sense to a nine-year-old," she added.

Adele gave birth to her son, Angelo, in 2012.

In 2019, it was announced that the singer and her husband Simon Konecki have separated.

Adele released her last record, “25,”  in 2015. Her debut album "19" was released in 2008, followed by her sophomore album "21" in 2011.

She recently dropped a teaser for her comeback single “Easy on Me” which comes out on October 15.

The teaser came out as fans aired their speculations after the number “30” popped up on billboards and landmarks across the world. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
