Miss World Philippines 2021 queens now preparing for int’l pageants

Just three days after winning their crowns, the Miss World Philippines (MWP) 2021 queens are now preparing to represent the country in their respective international pageants.

On Lhar Santiago’s “24 Oras” report, Wednesday, Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez said she would try to learn a new language before flying to Puerto Rico in December.

“I still have two more months to learn Spanish and I will definitely ask my lolos and lolas because they are in the Spanish lineage so I’ll get to that,” she said.

Meanwhile, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2021 Emmanuelle Vera said the competition at the end of the month would mark her first international one.

“This is my first pageant so the preparations are even more intense. Step by step, just focusing on one thing at a time,” she said.

As the two queens are set to leave the Philippines soon, their fellow queens vowed that they would stay by their side to serve as their support system.

“We’re always here. We’re 10 queens so let’s support each other and we’re always here to cheer (for) you,” said Dindi Pajares, Miss Supranational Philippines 2021, who recently came home as a Top 12 finisher.

Miss Tourism Philippines 2021 Trisha Martinez, Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2021 Tatyana Austria, and 1st Princess Riana Pangindian added that they would be helping out with whatever was needed.

Completing the MWP queens who were crowned last Sunday were Kathleen Paton (Miss Eco Philippines), Michelle Arceo (Miss Environment Philippines), and Shaila Rebortera (Miss Multinational Philippines).

Ganiel Krishnan, meanwhile, relinquished her title as 2nd Princess on Tuesday, making Angeles City, Pampanga’s Janelle Lewis the new queen.
