Megan Young shares photo of her crowning moment as Miss World Philippines 8 years ago

Megan Young on Sunday took a trip down memory lane as she looked back on her winning moment at the Miss World Philippines pageant in 2013.

Hours ahead Miss World Philippines 2021 coronation night, Megan shared a photo of her crowning moment and a group photo with the rest of the beauty queens who won that year on her Instagram account.

"This happened 8 years ago officially Tita Bonez na ako but tonight, a new queen will be crowned and I am so excited for her to represent the Philippines," she wrote in the caption.

"Who do you see as our next Miss World Philippines?" she added.

Megan tagged Miss World Philippines 2012 Queenie Rehman and joked, "bakit nga ba hindi pantay 'yung pag kapatong mo ng crown sa akin? Wahahaha miss you."

In 2013, Megan made history as she became the first Filipina beauty queen to be crowned as Miss World.

Miss World Philippines 2021 is set to happen on October 3, Sunday at 7 p.m.

Seven queens will be crowned at the end of the night: Miss World Philippines, Miss Eco Philippines, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas, Miss Tourism Philippines, Miss Environment International Philippines, Miss Multinational Philippines, and Miss Eco Teen Philippines.

Dindi Pajares was crowned Miss Supranational Philippines 2021 in July. She represented the country at the international pageant in August where she finished as part of the Top 12. —JAB, GMA News.
