Shelters for children, elderly call for donations amid lockdown


With Metro Manila under a two-week enhanced community quarantine and Antipolo under the modified enhanced community quarantine since August 6, shelters Concordia Children's Services, Inc. (CCSI), Little Sisters of the Abandoned Elderly, and CRIBS Foundation have called for donations as they continue to serve the children and the elderly during lockdown.

If you wish to help the shelters, listed below are their details:

1. CRIBS Foundation, Inc.

CRIBS Foundation, Inc. provides shelter for abandoned, surrendered, and neglected children aged 0 to 4 years old. It also provides protective custody and healing for sexually abused girls, aged 7-17 years old. According to their social media post, the babies and girls are in need of the following:

  • Crackers
  • Cooking oil

2. Concordia Children's Services, Inc. (CCSI)

CCSI, located in the City of Manila, is a child caring agency for abandoned and neglected children. It was founded in 1983 and in 1996, it expanded to serve the needs of the urban poor children in Sta. Mesa area as well.
