Steve Harvey is returning as the Miss Universe beauty pageant host in December!

On Thursday, JP Soriano of GMA News reported that the Israel Ministry of Tourism had confirmed that the 70th edition of the pageant would be held in the country and again be hosted by the American TV personality.

“Miss Universe will once again be hosted by Steve Harvey,” his tweet read.

On Wednesday, Miss Universe announced that it would be staging the show in Eilat, Israel.

Steve missed the 69th Miss Universe competition held in May, but assured everyone that he would be back for the next pageant.

He hosted Miss Universe 2015 where he mistakenly named Miss Columbia as the winner before correcting himself and calling the Philippines’ candidate Pia Wurtzbach.

Since then, he has become a mainstay on the pageant.
