Bella Poarch reveals getting bullied for her looks in the US

Bella Poarch revealed that she got bullied in high school for her looks when they moved to the United States.

In a recent Vogue video, she pointed out that her upper lip was darker than her lower lip which she noticed was common among her Filipino friends.

According to the Filipino American TikTok sensation, a lot of her friends have wanted to change this and now, she realized that everyone should just “embrace where you’re from.”

Bella then recalled a bad experience she had in the past because of her features.

“I came to the United States when I was 14 and I got bullied a lot and so many bad experiences in high school just because of what I look like,” she said.

“I feel like it’s happening a lot and it needs to be talked about more because it’s not okay to bully people because of where they came from or what they look like,” she added.

She said that bullies still leave comments on her Instagram posts even after she graduated high school.

Now a famous social media personality, Bella said she is “proud of myself for just believing in myself and getting this far in my life.”

“I wanna make everyone proud especially the Philippines because that’s my home,” she added.

In the video, she also shared her skincare and makeup routine to help her viewers achieve the “classic Bella look” on TikTok.
