The hype over Rabiya’s national costume was already intensified a few days before, after former Miss Universe Philippines Shamcey Supsup revealed that a so-called “missing piece” finally arrived in the US.
For the mean time, it looks like Rabiya already made an impression before the live broadcast of the nat-cos competition on Friday morning.
Based on posts shared by Aces and Queens, the beauty queen showed up at a closed-door event in a white blazer-style dress made by Filipino designer Ram Silva.
Rabiya’s OOTD was simply elegant from the front, but wait till you see the pearl details and beading in the back that spelled out the word “Pinay” in the colors of the Filipino flag.
The National Costume round of the 2020 Miss Universe pageant will be streamed live through Lazada and the Official Miss Universe YouTube channel.
