Binibining Pilipinas coronation night moved to June 27

The Binibining Pilipinas coronation night has been moved to June 27.

Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) made the announcement, Tuesday, through the pageant’s social media accounts.

“To safeguard the welfare of our staff and candidates, BPCI is moving the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night to June 27, 2021,” said its statement.

“We will continue to comply with government guidelines. For now, we will hold virtual activities until we are ready to stage our pageant activities,” it added.

The coronation night was supposed to be held on Saturday after Binibining Pilipinas kickstarted its return with a national costume photo exhibit in January.

This is the pageant’s second postponement after it was held back last year due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) threat. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
