Samantha Bernardo on top 5 of Miss Grand International best in swimsuit

The Philippines’ candidate Samantha Bernardo made it to the top five in the best in swimsuit competition of the Miss Grand International pageant.

The announcement was made by the organization on Wednesday through its Facebook page.

The top five voted by social media users include the candidates from Indonesia, Mexico, Cambodia, and Paraguay.

In the beauty queen’s entry for the competition, she was seen showcasing her #GRANDnadaWalk.

Voting was done through GrandTV’s YouTube channel, where Samantha’s video garnered more than 200,000 views, 28,000 likes and 5,000 comments.

The five other finalists to be selected by judges, meanwhile, are yet to be announced.

On Feb. 9, Binibining Pilipinas announced that Samantha would represent the Philippines at Miss Grand International.

Later that month, she arrived in Thailand to fulfill her duty of representing the country in the pageant.

The National Costume contest will be held tonight, where Samantha will represent the “Goddess of Pearls.” The coronation event is on March 27. – RC, GMA News
