Sharon Cuneta adopts stray dog she 'fell in love with' in Olongapo: 'You are safe now'
It was love at first sight for Sharon Cuneta and soon-to-be fur baby!
The Mega Star just shared that she's adopting a stray dog she "fell in love with" during a shoot in Olongapo.
She earlier posted a video of her petting a dog that came up to her, and asked her followers for help to find "the doggie I want to rescue."
It turns out that The Homeless Dog Shelter in Subic has already done the job and is now currently treating the dog ahead of adoption.
"They found you, my doggie that was meant to be mine!" Sharon said in her post. "I could never stop thinking about you and now I cannot wait to hold you and love you the way you have always deserved to be!"
"When you walked up to me and I patted your head, then you rubbed your face so very gently and lovingly on my leg, you seemed like you wanted me to take you home with me. And now, after the great Vets there are done treating you, you are coming HOME to me!" she added.
Apparently, her new baby, which she named Pawi, is around eight years old. The singer couldn't help but mourn what "life must have made you go through."
"You are safe now, baby boy. Mama’s here now and I will love you...I will make the rest of your years happy and you will NEVER have to search or beg for food again or a place to sleep where you would feel safe...never have to panic to seek shelter from the rain and other elements...You will become a PRINCE and be loved like you’ve never been loved before!" she said.
Sharon expressed regret for not taking Pawi home immediately, but said "all will be well now."
"You’ll be home soon, Pawi boy! Hang in there! The good doctors will take good care of you. And then...you’ll see just how much Mama will love you!" she added.
