'Unang Hirit' hosts try to impress Christian Bautista during sing-off

Christian Bautista has been badly missing GMA's singing competition "The Clash," in which he participates as a judge.

Luckily, the "Unang Hirit" barkada had a way to make him feel better on Thursday morning, and they bravely undertook a sing-off against each other with Christian judging their performances.

Mariz Umali sang Fugees' "Killing Me Softly With his Song" while Suzi Entrata-Abrera  sang Jessa Zaragoza's "Bakit Pa?"

Christian chose Mariz as the winner for that round.

Meanwhile, Ivan Mayrina tried to impress by singing Christian's iconic single "The Way You Look At Me" while Lyn Ching performed Adele's "Someone Like You" and came away as the winner.

For the third round, Connie Sison chose to sing Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing" while Susan Enriquez went for the classic "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" by Aerosmith.

As of now, a Grand Champion has yet to be chosen, but tune in to "Unang Hirit" in case of another sing-off.

The latest season of "The Clash" concluded last December, with Jessica Villarubin from Cebu emerging as the Grand Champion. —JCB, GMA News
