Fil-Am Miss Teen USA Ki’ilani Arruda reveals some of her favorite Pinoy dishes

The newly crowned Miss Teen USA Ki’ilani Arruda, a Filipino-American beauty queen, has revealed that she would eat several Pinoy dishes at home.

“Lumpia, oh my gosh, is my favorite. We always make pork adobo at home and so many dishes,” Ki’ilani said on “24 Oras” on Tuesday.

“Halo-halo is one of my favorites,” she said. “Family gatherings are important to us and coming together and sharing a meal together.”

Ki’ilani said her care specialist, Olivia Quido, was also a Filipina. Aside from Ki’ilani, other contestants such as Miss Idaho and Miss Washington were of Filipino descent. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
