Red-backed sea eagle spotted cruising over Pasay City
A majestic red-backed sea eagle or brahminy kite was spotted flying over Pasay City in July.
A YouScooper Donald Pancho recently shared photos he was able to take of the bird flying around the harbor square area at the CCP Complex on two different days last month.
Pancho said some fishermen have also seen the eagle patrolling the area, and even occasionally toss up some fish for it to eat.
Wild animal sightings have been a thing these past few days, thanks to two ostriches that recently ran loose inside a private Quezon City subdivision.
Footage of ostriches running free took over social media for much of Tuesday, with many netizens taking the absurdity as a metaphor for the events these past few months.
More videos of animals running loose in urban settings eventually surfaced online, including a pig in Cebu and a cow in Iloilo.
