These doctors, lawyers are offering free online consultations amid COVID-19 threat
A doctor is doing free medical consultations online as some clinics stopped operating in light of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) situation.
According to Katrina Son's report on "Unang Balita," primary care physician Dra. Lyn Sito has been able to reach up to 3,000 people per day through a page called "Nay Darna MD."
The doctor saw her patients over video from her home almost 24 hours everyday since Luzon was placed under enhanced community quarantine last March.
Dr. Sita had just survived a stroke and is considered immunocompromised, but that didn't stop her from giving much-needed medical advice to those in need.
"Doon naging mas (lumakas) 'yung desire ko to help, kasi living testimony ako ni God na kahit na may sakit ako, puwede pa rin akong tumulong," she said.
Now with more doctors offering their services, Nay Darna MD is currently able to see patients from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Meanwhile, a group of lawyers and law students called "Bayanihan Pulilan" are also offering online legal assistance for free.
According to law student Bea Czarina Navarro, they are ready to offer legal services as the country continues to fight the COVID-19 threat.
