UP Concert Chorus shares heartening cover of 'Let There Be Peace On Earth'

As the world continues to battle the coronavirus pandemic, the University of the Philippines Concert Chorus is sending a message of hope.

The group shared a heartening cover of "Let There Be Peace On Earth" on Facebook, recorded by alumni members of batches from the 1980's in the Philippines and abroad.

"In this world today when fear, panic, confusion, joblessness, sickness, and death have impacted everyone’s lives, we continue to hold on to that blessed hope that we can find PEACE even in the midst of a global pandemic," they said.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases around the world has reached over 3.8 million, including 263,658 deaths.

As of Saturday, the Philippines has recorded 10,610 infections, 704 deaths, and 1,842.
