Author Mitch Albom is coming back to Manila

International bestselling author Mitch Albom will be coming back to Manila for a book signing tour on February 15 and 16, according to a National Bookstore (NBS) announcement on Tuesday evening.

His latest book, "Finding Chika", revolves around a 3-year old earthquake victim from Haiti who is diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.

On February 15, Saturday, fans can meet the author at SM Megamall's Event Center, Lower Ground Floor (Mega A).

On February 16, Sunday, fans can catch Albom at the Alabang Town Center's Activity Center.

The registration for both events start at 10:00 am while the book signing event will begin at 12 noon.

Only 1,500 slots for each event will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The author of seven New York Times bestsellers, Albom is known for his books, "Tuesdays with Morrie", "The Five People You Meet in Heaven", and "For One More Day", among others.

His first visit to the Philippines was in 2014. He visited the country not only to promote his book "The First Phone Call from Heaven", but also to do some humanitarian work in areas affected by Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). — BAP, GMA News
