Kara David attends CPA oathtaking of Project Malasakit scholar Philip Christian Palabay

Kara David attended the certified public accountant (CPA) oathtaking ceremony of Philip Christian Palabay, a Yolanda survivor and beneficiary of Project Malasakit.

On social media, the Kapuso journalist shared a photo of herself with Philip, as well as scenes from the occasion. 

"Our Project Malasakit scholar Philip Christian Palabay is now a CPA! And he is now working for SGV in Makati. Congratulations! Always very proud of you," Kara said on Instagram.

Palabay graduated with latin honors from UP Visayas this year, and recently passed the CPA licensure exam.

Palabay was able to achieve his dream with the help of David and her scholarship foundation.
