Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2019 Katrina Llegado excited to represent PHL

Katrina Llegado is still in disbelief that she is now Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2019.

"I still can’t believe that finally I have a crown!" the 21-year-old said in a post on Instagram on Monday.

Katrina, who graduated cum laude from De La Salle University, said that all her "sacrifices, hard work and determination really paid off."

"I’m so excited to represent FILIPINAS! Maraming salamat sa lahat ng tumulong at sumuporta sa akin!" she continued.

The beauty queen was among the favorites early on the pageant. She bagged several awards, including Top Model, Best in Evening Gown, Miss Cabalen, and Miss Photogenic.

Katrina is hoping to be the second Filipina to win the Reina Hispanoamericana title in Bolivia. Last year's candidate Alyssa Muhlach Alvarez bowed out early, but Winwyn Marquez took home the crown in 2017.
