Catriona Gray says she's her dad's ‘little girl at heart'
Catriona Gray may currently be one of the most influential women in the world, but on Father's Day she declared herself as basically her dad's "little girl."
On her Instagram account, Catriona posted an old photo of herself with her father when she was a little girl.
"Happy Fathers Day to my papa bear and all the amazing fathers out there!" read the 2018 Miss Universe's message.
"Thank you daddy for always being such a strong role model for me, and for always giving your all for our family."
Cat said that she owed her father a great deal.
"I would not be the woman I am today if not for you - but I'll always be your little girl at heart. I love you!"
Even before she won the Miss Universe crown, Catriona was known to frequently quote her father.
"I can always hear my dad's voice, whenever he gives me advice it's always stuck in my head," had said in 2018, before she flying of to the the Miss Universe Pageant. "He always tells me, 'The longest journey starts with a single step.' And it sounds very simple.
