Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray is home

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray arrived in the country Friday night earlier than her scheduled return.

A report by Katrina Son on "State of the Nation with Jessica Soho" said Gray arrived at past 9 p.m. at the NAIA Terminal 3 aboard a Qatar Airways flight from New York.

Clad in white blouse, the beauty queen waved to the crowd as she was led by a team of security and airport personnel to the VIP exit.

No one from her entourage gave an interview to the media as to her early arrival and her schedule.

Gray is scheduled to return to the country on Wednesday, February 20, for a homecoming celebration.

On February 21 and 23, a grand parade will be held in Manila and Makati cities that would show Gray abroad a majestic lava-inspired float.

Gray, who is also a model, stage actress, visual artist and singer, became the fourth Filipina to be crowned Miss Universe in the pageant in December 2018. —LDF, GMA News
