Karen Gallman was fierce and golden in her National Costume

Karen Gallman was a lenten festival personified during the 2019 Miss Intercontinental National costume competition at the Okada Manila Saturday evening.

The Philippines’ Miss Intercontinental representative was a golden vision as she walked down the runway, waving a sword and holding up a mask.

Her dress suggested a knightly armor, with her headdress adorned with black chicken feathers.

The beauty queen’s costume was said to be inspired by the Moryonan, or the Moriones Festival, celebrated in Marinduque during Holy Week.
