Miss Universe Catriona Gray is also a singer and composer

The newly crowned Miss Universe Catriona Gray is a martial artist, a youth advocate, as well as a singer and composer.

Mav Gonzales reported on State of the Nation with Jessica Soho that Catriona was featured in a music video for a non-government organization, the Young Focus Philippines.

The 24-year-old Filipino-Australian beauty queen and model has covered numerous songs in her YouTube channel.

Her talent does not come as a surprise since Catriona has a degree in Music Theory from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.

At the Miss Universe pageant, she was asked by host Steve Harvey for the title of a song she would write about her experience in the contest.

"Raise your flag," replied Catriona. She explained that this was because she knows she is not alone in her fight. Rather, she is one with millions of Filipinos. — Kaela Malig/BAP, GMA News
