Two GMA Public Affairs documentaries honored in London

Two GMA Public Affairs documentaries were among those honored during  the awarding ceremony of the Association of International Broadcasting (AIB) in London on Thursday.

"Philippine Seas," a special documentary hosted by Atom Araullo, won the Grand Prize in the Science, Technology, Nature category. [Watch full episode here]

On the other hand, "Batang Maestro," which was shown on Reel Time, was "highly commended" for being "visually stunning" in the Domestic Affairs category. [Watch full episode here]

Documentaries from BBC, CNN and Al-Jazeera were among the finalists in the AIB Awards.

AIB was formed to support organizations that face unique challenges in their commitment to the broadcasting field and ‘publish in multiple global jurisdictions and cultures.’
