Jannie Loudette Alipo-on wins 4th Miss Tourism International crown for PHL

Mutya ng Pilipinas - Tourism International 2017 Jannie Loudette Vicencio Alipo-on on Wednesday bested 46 other beauty queens to bring home the Philippines' fourth Miss Tourism International crown. 

Alipo-on was crowned in Johor Bahru, Malaysia by outgoing queen Ariel Pearse from New Zealand. She also bagged the Miss Gintell Wellness special award.

Alipo-on follows in the footsteps of previous Filipina winners Maria Esperanza Manzao (2000), Rizzini Alexis Gomez (2012), and Angeli Dione Gomez (2013) — making the Philippines the country with the most Miss Tourism International win.

Maja Sieron of Poland was crowned Miss Tourism Metropolitan 2017; Lois Tangel of Indoensia was crowned Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan 2017; Julia Horta of Brazil was hailed Dream Girl of the Year 2017; Diana Hills of Australia won Miss Tourism Global 2017; and Panghom Kamolrut Tanon of Thailand was hailed Miss Southeast Asia Tourism Ambassadress 2017. — AT, GMA News
