On Instagram, Megan shared a sweet photo of her and Laura with their arms locked together. In the caption, Megan expressed how proud she feels for Laura.
"As we board our flight back to Manila, I can't help but think about last night. Not being able to read your name was the toughest because I really wanted and prayed for this moment for you! I was upset but as they say, the show must go on," Megan wrote on Instagram.
Although it wasn't the outcome everybody has hoped for, Megan said Laura's success in helping many children and parents is to be celebrated as victory.
"I went back to my room and realized that even though it may not have been the winning outcome I had hoped for you, I knew you were a winner in the hearts of many parents and children of Jose Reyes Memorial hospital. At your age, being able to provide a hospital with a MILK BANK is a WIN already. You have SAVED and CHANGED lives," Megan continued on Instagram.
The Kapuso actress also said she is proud to have a friend and sister like Laura, who has inspired her with her resilience.
"I am so proud of you and your strength and positivity. Thank you for shining a bright light on the people around you, Lau I am so proud to be your friend and sister. Thank you for inspiring me. Always. Love you, Lau!," she wrote on Instagram.
Lehmann meanwhile shared the same photo on her Instagram account, and in the caption she shared how Megan has been helpful to her regardless of Megan's busy schedule.
"Sista from another mista. Meggymar is one of the best people I know. Not to mention the best Miss World ever because she makes everyone around her better. She is so helpful in every way even though she doesn’t have to be & even when she is so busy (playing video games at 3am charot hehe). So last night on screen, she was also representing us!!!!!!! #FilipinaPride! ???????? Father Rocky too. And ALV @arnold_vegafria!! Woohoo!! Haha Actually, ang daming Pinoy nafeature last night. Nakakaproud diba?," Lehmann wrote on her Instagram account.
Despite taking an early exit in the competition, Lehmann bagged the Beauty With A Purpose award and won the Head-to-Head challenge prior to the coronation event.
