Justin Trudeau meets babies at women’s center, grabs Jollibee take-out
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau arrived in the Philippines on Sunday for the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit, but he made a few important detours along the way.
After a rock-star welcome at Clark International Airport in Pampanga, Trudeau paid a visit to the Canada-funded non-government women's health advocacy group Likhaan and made a stop at a Jollibee in Tondo, Manila.
According to a Reuters report, Trudeau ordered a Chickenjoy and a strawberry float. "Can I get it to go? I'll eat it in the car," he said, and greeted almost everyone in the store.
