Dante from Pixar's new film ‘Coco’ stars in his own mini-adventure


Disney and Pixar have released a short film entitled “Dante’s Lunch – A Short Tail,” starring the loveable dog whom we’ll be seeing more of in the upcoming film “Coco.”

Dante is the pet dog of Miguel (voiced by Anthony Gonzalez), the 12-year-old protagonist of “Coco.”

Dante will accompany Miguel in his journey, set in motion with a strum of his late's father's guitar. In the colorful Land of the Dead, he will meet Hector (voiced by Gael Garcia Bernal) and together they'll discover why music has been banned in Miguel's family for generations.

“Coco” is directed by Lee Unkrich, who directed 2010’s phenomenal “Toy Story 3,” and served as co-director on “Toy Story 2,” “Finding Nemo,” and “Monsters, Inc.”

The film is co-directed by Adrian Molina and produced by Darla K. Anderson.

“Coco” opens in theaters this November 22.  — AT, GMA News
