Meet Gru's twin brother Dru in new ‘Despicable Me 3’ trailer

Gru and his Minions are back—and they're about the encounter sweet, sweet temptation to go back to a life of crime. Rather, a life of villainy.

Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig reprise their roles as Gru and Miss Hattie as they visit the lavish mansion of Dru (also voiced by Carell), Gru's long lost twin brother.

Dru—and to some extent, the Minions—make a pitch to Gru that "villainy is in his blood."

"South Park" and "The Book of Mormon" co-creator Trey Parker is reportedly also joining the cast as the new character Balthazar Bratt, featured in an earlier trailer.

Bratt is a former child star who became obsessed with the character he played in the ‘80s and he might be Gru’s most formidable nemesis to date.

"Despicable Me" is directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda with Eric Guillon. The film will open in Philippine theaters on July 14. — AT, GMA News
