Charmaine Elima an early favorite in Binibining Pilipinas 2017

The competition has just started, but pageant experts are already picking out the strongest candidates for the Binibining Pilipinas crown. Sash Factor on Friday revealed its "first pick" and leading early in the game is morena beauty Charmaine "Maine" Elima.

Elima is represented by Aces and Queens. She first joined Binibining Pilipinas in 2013, where she was one of the Top 15 finalists. She has a degree in International Hospitality Management from Siena College.
