Will these celebrity daughters be going for Bb. Pilipinas glory?

The Miss Universe pageant is over for another year, but aspiring beauty queens are already getting ready for this year's Binibining Pilipinas competition, which will determine the next batch of Philippine representatives to most of the international beauty tilts.

Pageant blogs have already posted hints on who might be joining, with the names of three celebrity offspring figuring prominently.

According to the pageant blog normannorman.com, the Binibining Pilipinas 2017 pageant might include Mariel de Leon, Wyn Marquez and Michelle Marquez Dee.

Mariel de Leon, daughter of Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong, joined the pageant back in 2013. She is currently a Mercator artist, a singer and a cookery graduate. On her Facebook page, she posted a photo with the caption "Soon!" and the hashtag #BinibiningPilipinas2017.

Wyn Marquez, daughter of Alma Moreno and Joey Marquez, joined the pageant in 2015. Despite winning three special awards, including Best National Costume and Miss Talent, she did not make it past the top 15. Recently, she posted a photo of her with beauty queen trainer Jonas Gaffud. Will Wyn come back even stronger this year?

Wyn is not the only beauty in the family who might end up in the Binibining Pilipinas competition. Her cousin Michelle Marquez Dee, daughter of Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez, is a professional model who has appeared in magazines and on billboards.
