Margie Moran commends Maxine’s growth in 65th Miss Universe pageant
The 86 candidates for the 65th Miss Universe pageant are only a day away from victory and for Miss Universe 1973 Margie Moran, the best thing to do tonight is sleep.
"They should just focus on being rested and just being happy and enjoying themselves on the last night," Moran told the press during the Red Carpet event on Sunday.
Moran advised the women to savor the moment, because winning the crown is all up to "destiny" at this point.
"There is no formula to win, there is no formula to be Miss Universe. To me, it's destiny," the beauty queen said, also in reference Maxine Medina's chances of winning.
Still, Moran spoke highly of Medina and commended her performance in the pageant so far.
"I've seen her. Nag-grow naman siya. I think you grow as the days come along. You grow and you become more confident when you see yourself against the others," Moran explained.
