Dayanara Torres reveals which Pinoy food is her favorite

It's easy to forget that Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres is actually Puerto Rican and not Filipino.

Torres came to the Philippines in 1994 already a beauty queen and she fell so in love with the country that she decided to stay for a few years after she passed her crown.

Torres wasn't just busy being a movie star in the Philippines, she was also preoccupied with savoring Filipino cuisine. It's no surprise that she wasted no time and started enjoying the food again when she returned.

Early Saturday, Torres shared a video of herself enjoying her "favorite, favorite, favorite food from the Philippines." Sorry to disappoint fans of adobo, but it's sinigang na baboy.

Torres will be serving as a judge in the 65th Miss Universe grand coronation event, along with fellow titlists Sushmita Sen and Leila Lopez. Also on the panel are Mickey Boardman, Francine LeFrak, and Cynthia Bailey.
