Maxine Medina, other Miss Universe candidates arrive in Vigan

It's a "trip back in time" for the 65th Miss Universe candidates on Sunday as they tour beautiful Vigan. The beauty queens, chaperoned by businessman Chavit Singson, arrived past noon at the noted tourist spot.

Miss Philippines Maxine Medina along with representatives from Brazil, Malaysia, Venezuela, Guatemala, Spain, Bulgaria, Belgium, Dominican Republic, Great Britain, and more will be exploring Vigan today.

A "Terno Fashion Show" featuring the candidates is scheduled to be held at Calle Crisologo. Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach will be gracing the event. 

Pre-pageant activities are also scheduled in Baguio,Cebu, Batangas, and Davao.

The 65th Miss Universe pageant will be held on January 30, 2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. — AT, GMA News
