The intricate details of Miss Thailand's national costume

When it comes to national costumes, Thailand is the country to beat. They set the bar pretty high with the famous "tuk tuk dress" from 2015, which earned the country a Best National Costume award.

For the upcoming 65th Miss Universe pageant, they went with something more intricate. Tuk tuk dress designer Zomo dubbed his new, incredibly sparkly creation "Jewel of Thailand."

The National Costume Show is scheduled to be held after the Preliminary Show on January 26. The 65th Miss Universe coronation night will be held on January 30 at the Mall of Asia Arena.  — AT, GMA News
