Cloie Syquia Skarne thanks Pinoy fans for supporting her Miss Earth bid

Beauty queen Cloie Syquia Skarne thanked her Filipino fans for supporting her Miss Earth bid on October 29 even though she will be representing Sweden, not the Philippines.

Skarne is the daughter of actor Gabby Concepcion and Filipino-American Swedish model Jenny Syquia. Skarne is also the half-sister of actress KC Concepcion.

The Miss Earth contestant earned the most cheers from the crowd and won the Miss Movenpick Resort award, a special award during the competition's swimsuit round in Boracay this past week.

Concepcion's daughter was part of the competition's second group, different from the group of Miss Earth-Philippines Imelda Schweighart.

Skarne, crowned Miss Earth-Sweden in August, told GMA News that the Philippines is her second home and that she was a proud Filipina at heart.
