The Miss Earth 2016 candidates in swimsuits, part 2

(Part 2 of 2) The Miss Earth 2016 candidates met the media at Diamond Hotel in Manila  on Tuesday.

Posing by the hotel pool in red bikinis, the candidates smiled for the cameras, with the Philippines' Imelda Schweighart and and Ecuador's Katherine Elizabeth Espin tying for the "darling of the press" title.

Not all of the candidates were there, though. The candidates from India (name not provided), Palestine (Natali Rantisi), Dominican Republic (Lidia Nicole Jimeno) and Kosovo (Andina Pura) failed to make it to the press presentation.

The environmentally-themed pageant's coronation night will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on October 29. Last year's winner, the Philippines' Angelia Ong, will be handing her crown to one of the 84 candidates competing this year.  — BM, GMA News
