Miss Universe announces new advocacy partner

Pia Wurtzbach has announced that the Miss Universe Organization has forged a partnership with @Smiletrain, which provides free cleft surgery for children.

The charitable organization, in its Instagram posts says, "Smile Train is the world's leading cleft charity with 1,100+ programs in 85+ of the world's poorest countries. Changing the world one smile at a time!"

The objective of the partnership is to help raise awareness of  issues faced by children living with unrepaired clefts in the developing world. — BAP, GMA News
