Pia does her "Miss Universe walk" on TV show

The reigning Miss Universe, Pia Wurtzbach, was not able to do her "walk" as the winner of the famous beauty pageant.

She was able to do so during the Live with Kelly and Michael show on Monday evening (Philippine Time).

It can be recalled that there was a gaffe during the announcement of the Miss Universe winner with host Steve Harvey declaring a different winner and correcting himself a few minutes after.

TV show host, Kelly Ripa, pointed out that Pia was unable to do the traditional walk of the reigning Miss Universe.

With Ripa's co-host, football legend Michael Strahan introducing her, Pia finally was able to do her Miss Universe walk amid cheers from the TV show's live audience.
During the interview, she revealed that after the pageant she had doubts whether she was indeed the winner.

"Did I really win? Is this final? Are they coming back and take the crown from me?," Wurtzbach said, adding that she was reassured by her companions.

"I had a good cry backstage and that's when it finally sink in," she added. — BAP, GMA News
