Miss Colombia posts photo of crowning moment with hashtag ‘#backtoback’

For a little over two minutes, Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo was on top of the world, with the Miss Universe crown on her head and the sash around her torso.

Then host Steve Harvey stopped the proceedings and admitted that he had made a mistake—and that the real Miss Universe was in fact the Philippines' Pia Wurtzbach.

In the confusion and awkwardness that followed, the crown and sash were taken off Gutierrez and given to Wurtzbach.

While Miss Colombia appeared to have accepted the mistake and her actual placing right after the pageant, several hours after the event ended she posted photos of her with the crown with the hashtag #backtoback and the words "Lo logramos [we did it] Colombia!"

?? This moments will always be with me #missuniverse #misscolombia #backtoback Lo logramos COLOMBIA!

The hashtag refers to the fact that if she had indeed won, it would have been only the second time in Miss Universe history that a country had produced back-to-back winners, as fellow Colombian Paulina Vega was crowned Miss Universe 2014 in January.

As it stands, the only time this happened was when Venezuela's bet took home the crown in 2008 and again in 2009.

Gutierrez also posted another photo of her wearing the crown with the caption, "Forever your Miss Universe! Colombia!"

POR SIEMPRE TU MISS UNIVERSO!! COLOMBIA !!!!!!! #misscolombia
