Furniture, home furnishings brands at Cobonpue showroom

The Kenneth Cobonpue Showroom at The Residences at Greenbelt, San Lorenzo Tower in Makati is now home to the Contemporary Design Showcase, which features the work of three esteemed designers, representing globally recognized brands in contemporary home furnishing: Matt Carr of Toronto-based homeware design company Umbra; Arno Ruijzenaars of clock master Leff Amsterdam; and furniture designer Cobonpue himself.

Umbra Shift, an extension of Umbra, highlights its collection with the Coiled Stool, which was inspired by the traditional basket weaving techniques in the Philippines.

For Leff Amsterdam, the brand continues its principle of creating beautiful clocks that everybody wants to have, "even if nobody really needs a clock."

Kenneth Cobonpue's Yoda chair, used by heads of state at the recently concluded APEC 2015, is on display. The Yoda chair, inspired by blades of glass, are either made of split rattan (the indoor version) or PVC (the outdoor version).
