Kapuso reporter Cata Tibayan's wedding invitation inspired by Harry Potter

Yes, it (almost) has moving pictures!

 

With a church wedding in Basilica Menor de San Sebastian and a reception set in City of Dreams, Kapuso enterntainment reporter Cata Tibayan's wedding with college sweetheart Jert Yao is expected to be as grand as the celebrity weddings she covers.

 

One of the earliest examples are her pre-nup photos in four different set up and layout, as well as her wedding invitation that will surely catch the attention of her fellow Harry Potter fans.

 

 

According to Cata, she was a little too meticulous when it comes to details for her invitations, which is s why her mother decided to take the responsibility off her back and surprise her.

 

Aside from the combination of gold and Marsala Red, the invitation also has a video in it containing the couple's personal vows.

“Metikulosa talaga ako sa design kaya sobrang binabantayan ko. But in the end, si Mommy na ang sumagot. She said it was a surprise, basta magbigay lang daw kami ng video. I never expected na ganito,” she said.

 

The showbiz reporter added, “My mom said she did this because I like Harry Potter!”

 

The invitation is a peek at the color theme of the wedding, which is patterned to the theme of Cata's mother's wedding. Most of the details of the celebration are patterned to the couple's parents' weddings as a tribute because they served as their role models when it comes to love and family.

Meanwhile, Cata's wedding gown is made by a Filipino designer based in Dubai. “Pero hindi ito 'yung may gawa ng gown ni Marian (Rivera) or Heart (Evangelista),” she clarified.
