Style team reveals how to achieve Alden Richards' style

Comfy but sleek — this is how stylists John Lozano and Trixie Waasdorp describe the signature style of Pambansang Bae Alden Richards.

 

Whether or not he is set to go out on a date with his split-screen love interest Maine Mendoza a.k.a. Yaya Dub, the Kapuso heartthrob always prefers to add a slight effort to every outfit he pulls off, even something as casual as his favorite pullovers.

 

“Alden Richards' style is comfy but sleek. When he wears something, it's simple with a slight effort to it. May hint of sleekness lagi. Gusto niya ay maganda ang impression agad sa damit pa lang,” according to Trixie.

 

She adds, “Mahilig siya sa pullover. Kaya most of the time, 'yun ang pinapagamit namin sa kaniya. At feeling ko, he likes red kasi 'yung shirt niya is always red or white, or red and white.”

 

Styling Alden does not come as too much of a challenge to John and Trixie's team because of the actor's natural charm.

 

“Si Alden ang pinakamadaling bihisan out of all the artists that I handled. Kasi kapag binigyan mo siya ng damit, suot agad. Walang reklamo. At lahat naman bumabagay sa kaniya. Magaling siyang magdala. Kahit anong brand o style, kaya niyang i-pull off,” she explains.

 

 

The only thing the Kapuso actor is quite particular about is how he smells, and his stylists know very well that he likes to smell good because they could literally smell his scent from afar.

 

Some of Alden's favorite perfumes are Hermes, Lacoste, and Lanvin.

 

Trixie shares, “Nagro-rotate siya ng perfume. Sobrang dami niyang pabango kaya walang permanent. But I know that he has Hermes, Lacoste, and Lanvin. 'Yung tatlong 'yun ang almost all the time niyang ginagamit."

 

"Malakas siyang magpabango. Malayo pa lang, alam ko nang nandiyan siya kasi naaamoy ko na siya."

 

However, Trixie admits that Alden is "still a boy" when it comes to maintaining his physical appearance.

 

Moreover, “He's very natural. I never see him put anything on his skin. He's still a boy. Wala siyang pakialam kung madumihan siya. Wala siyang beauty routine. Bahala na ang make up artist na maglagay ng kaunting foundation.” —JST, GMA News
