Cruz, who grew up in the Philippines, has been one of the most popular artists in the doll community for because of his well-loved precise creations of Princess Diana, Beyoncé, Michael, and Jon Bon Jovi as well as fictional characters like Superman and the cast of Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, and more.

The doll artist starts with a mass-produced doll, take off its paint, and re-paint it with his "fine tipped paint brush" until he turns it into a mini-me version of any personality or character. With this process, Cruz takes at least a week to finish a doll.

Commissioning a doll with Cruz starts at $1,250, but some of his works were auctioned off online for $3,000 and up. -NB, GMA News
