Love notes from Filipino poets, Part I 

There are myriad ways to say "I love you." Some say it outright. Some sing songs. Some write poetry. 

 

For this collection, GMA News Online picked some lines from the poems featured in University of the Philippines Press' "One Hundred Love Poems," an anthology of love poems in English written by Filipino poets since 1905. The book was first published in 2004 and edited by Gemino Abad and Alfred Yuson.
