Stave off 'taklesa hirits' at your Christmas reunion with these t-shirts

"Tumaba ka ngayon. Anong nangyari?" "Hindi pa ba kayo magpapakasal?" "Bakit wala pa kayong baby?"

If you keep getting these questions from relatives during Christmas reunions, then these might be the shirts for you.

RockEd Philippines is offering a humorous new line of t-shirts featuring sassy answers to common remarks from overbearing relatives during these reunions.

The organization's founder Gang Badoy thought up the concept, while CJ de Silva-Ong handled the calligraphy.

"This Tita Ping T-Shirt series is in memory of my late Tita Ping who died this year. She was the Tita who'd grill everyone about our weight, lovers, plans for kids, getting married, jobs, (she) gave strong opinions on our career choices, she was the sungit lambing Tita we all loved/hated to see during Christmas," Badoy told GMA News Online.

"I always wish I had these two shirts on me when she was still alive. This is my family's first Christmas w/o her and we will MISS her loud laughter and super alaskador questions and taas kilay stares. This is in her memory."

Orders for the t-shirt may be placed via email at radio@rockedphilippines.org. The shirts come in S, M, L, XL, and 2XL sizes.

The t-shirts cost P400, but buyers can choose to donate an additional P100. Funds raised from the t-shirt will go to RockEd projects, including book deliveries and teaching projects inside the Maximum Security Compound at the New Bilibid Prison. — JST, GMA News
