Broken cellular phone parts, CDs find new life in Christmas parol

There's always life for broken cellular phones, especially during Christmas.

Creative residents in Urdaneta City in Pangasinan showed this by making a parol (Christmas lantern) out of old cell phone parts and old CDs, GMA Dagupan reported.

The cell phone parol is among the attractions at Urdaneta City, whose city hall also features 33 other parols made of indigenous and recycled materials.

Another parol is made of tansans (bottle caps) while another is made of ipil-ipil and sitaw seed.

Still another features the Belen (Nativity scene) inside it.
