PHOTOS: Puzzle Mansion displays Guinness World Record-winning collection

"I'm 47 years old," said Gina Gil-Lacuna, proud new Guinness Record-holder.   Gil-Lacuna started collecting and solving jigsaw puzzles at age 35, and has been pursuing her hobby for 26 years now. So claiming to be a mere 47 years of age is nothing short of marvelous.   Having 1,028 jigsaw puzzles at your bed and breakfast (450 was the count last August)  isn’t just an astonishing feat, it’s the kind that  bags you a Guinness World Record.   "When the record of 238 puzzles was set in 2010, I already had more in my collection," Lacuna told media on Thursday at the Puzzle Mansion in Tagaytay City. "But I didn't know that such a record existed."   The former clothing businesswoman didn't start small with her collection: her first jigsaw was a 5,000-piece puzzle of Disney characters.   Now, everything she’s solved, from Picasso works and classic paintings, to comic book characters and architectural replicas, are housed at the Puzzle Mansion. She started keeping her collection there, earlier this year.   Here's a quick look at Puzzle Mansion and why Gil-Lacuna’s amazing collection won the Guinness World Record title.--KDM, GMA News
